Bremer Bay – Ocean meets the Land.

If you love the Southern Coastline of Western Australia, but would rather avoid the larger crowds of Albany, and even Esperance.  Then Bremer Bay is for you.

This quiet coastal town with a permanent population of under 300, is 515 kilometres South of Perth, between Esperance and Albany.

Bremer Bay is an outdoor lovers playground.  Swimming, Surfing, Fishing, Wildflowers, Hiking, and Scuba Diving are just some of the many outdoor activities enjoyed by those visiting the region.

30 miles offshore from this historic little town, is the Bremer Canyon, where an abundance of marine life can be viewed.  The main draw card to the region, bringing tourists from all over the world, is the Killer Whales or Orca’s that can reliably be found in the waters.   From July to October visitors will find the Southern Right Whales calving off-shore, with many sighting opportunities, while January to April of each year is the time to spot awe-inspiring Orcas.  Visitors can book a Whale or Orca Oceanic Expedition through Naturaliste Charters.

In addition, Bremer Bay is your gateway to the sensational Fitzgerald River National Park.  Stunning scenery, and wildflower species found nowhere else are just part of the attraction to this area.  Walking trails abound, and the Bremer Bay Visitor Centre can provide you with maps and tips to set you off in the right direction.

Camping opportunities are varied, with two well-regarded Caravan / Tourist Parks, and multiple excellent free and minimal cost camp sites.  As always, WikiCamps is your best source for finding the perfect location for your caravan destination.
