Mount Augustus National Park – Caravan Adventure Destination

Located 852 kilometres north of Perth, Mount Augustus is the world’s largest monocline.  Being 2.5 times the size of Uluru, this massive structure of stone is the largest of its kind in the world and is deserving of its vast title.

Stretching a massive 8 kilometres long, Mount Augustus is surrounded by a vast wilderness of rocky gorges, caves, Aboriginal rock engravings, walk trails, picnic sites, wildflowers in season, and a variety of wildlife.  A convenient ring road provides access to all areas of the National Park.

With caravan and camping accommodation available at the Mount Augustus Outback Tourist Resort this is a bucket list destination for the Australian outback traveller.  Will Mount Augustus be your next Caravan Adventure Destination?
